Oscar Banegas serves as a Senior Associate for Franklin Street specializing in multifamily properties in the Florida market, focusing on South Florida. As part of the multifamily investment brokerage team, he is responsible for advising clients on disposition strategies and trends, navigating methods to optimize value, preparing offering memorandums, pricing analysis proposals, and additional marketing materials.
Most recently, Mr. Banegas served as a Sales Associate at First Step Realty Group, LLC, where he helped investors structure deals for the purchase of income-producing properties in Miami, Florida. He assisted buyers by creating financial models to measure the profitability of potential investments and conducting financial analyses for asset valuation and cash flow projections.
Previously, he worked as a Housing Specialist for Citrus Health Network, Inc., a federally qualified health center serving medically underserved and un-insured residents. In his role as a housing placement specialist, Mr. Banegas maintained and expanded relationships with investors, realtors, landlords, property managers and social service agencies.
Mr. Banegas is a graduate of Florida International University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in International Real Estate.
He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate and a Certified Specialist of Inspection – Housing Quality Standards.
