Christopher Jones-Carey currently serves as Area Director for Franklin Street Management Services in Jacksonville. Mr. Jones-Carey is responsible for overseeing the performance of a variety of retail assets in the firm’s retail management portfolio, supporting both tenants and landlords with all aspects of their shopping centers’ operations.
Previously, Mr. Jones-Carey served as a Senior Associate specializing in the marketing and sales of retail assets in the North Florida market, focusing on Jacksonville. As part of the retail investment advisory team, he was responsible for conducting underwriting of disposition and acquisition opportunities, performing financial modeling, and coordinating acquisition and disposition due diligence. Since joining Franklin Street’s Jacksonville office in 2016, he has participated in real estate transactions totaling more than $40 million in value. He also served as a Administrative Support/GIS Specialist for the retail leasing and investment sales teams, as well as Office Manager.
Mr. Jones-Carey is a graduate of University of North Florida, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Jones-Carey is a licensed real estate sales associate in the state of Florida.
