Professional Experience

As Founding Partner of Franklin Street’s Office and Industrial division, Chad Rupp focuses on overall strategy for the division, managing and growing the team, along with supporting business development efforts across all Franklin Street offices. Mr. Rupp has more than 23 years of experience providing customized real estate solutions for healthcare, office, and industrial clients throughout the United States.

Previously, Mr. Rupp served as Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Central Florida region, where he was responsible for managing a team of more than 50 professionals in the Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville offices. Before joining Franklin Street, he served on the National JLL Leadership Council for more than three years. Having extensive experience evaluating real estate portfolios and developing company strategic plans for his clients, Mr. Rupp joined Jones Lang LaSalle through the merger with The Staubach Company where he worked with clients such as Akerman LLP, HealthPlan Services, Terracon, Gerdau, Moffit Cancer Center, Atkins, Ernst & Young, Hill Ward Henderson, Summit Container, IBM, BayCare Health System, AAA Auto Club Group, and FedEx – just to name a few. Prior to Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Rupp began his real estate career with CLW Real Estate Services Group in Tampa, providing multi-market representation on acquisitions and dispositions of office space for PwC, Travelers Insurance, and other national corporate clients.

Prior to his real estate career, he played professional baseball with the Minnesota Twins, Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Devil Rays organizations. Mr. Rupp resides in Tampa, FL with his wife Shannon, and their children – Braxton, Gavin, and Anderson.
