The Daily City has confirmed with Tim Rogers of Franklin Street Realty that the restaurant Taste of Chengdu is definitely opening a second location of the popular restaurant in Baldwin Park Village Center. It will be located inside the space formerly occupied by Chi restaurant at 4852 & 4856 New Broad Street adjacent to the Publix liquor store building.
The restaurant describes itself as “A casually elegant Chinese restaurant serving fresh authentic Szechuan/Sichuan cuisine.”
Taste of Chengdu’s original location opened in 2018 at 2030 W Colonial Drive. The Szechuan/Sichuan restaurant received very positive reviews from local Orlando food reviewers Scott Jospeh and Faiyaz Kara.
