A Tampa technology services firm has expanded in Westshore, more than doubling its office space and putting signage on one of the business district’s premier buildings.
Tribridge, which occupied 17,136 square feet at One Urban Centre, has signed a lease for an additional 27,421 square feet, bringing its presence in the building to 44,557 square feet. In Tampa, an office lease of greater than 25,000 square feet is considered large.
The deal includes large signage facing Westshore Boulevard — the first time such signage has ever been granted to a tenant within this building, according to Franklin Street.
The space can accommodate 300 employees and will allow Tribridge to move employees from a nearby office at 208 S. Hoover Blvd.
One Urban Centre is part of a large mixed-use building at the intersection of Westshore and Kennedy boulevards, across Kennedy Boulevard from Westshore Plaza and close to the Interstate 275 interchange as well as Tampa International Airport. One Urban Centre and another office tower, Two Urban Centre, flank the Westshore Grand hotel.
Chad Rupp, managing director for Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate company, represented Tribridge in the transaction. JLL represents the landlord, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America.
Tribridge’s expansion represents the third-largest office deal in Westshore this year, according to Franklin Street.
