A seasoned leader, Marr will dedicate efforts to expanding the firm’s talent and market share in Tampa
TAMPA, FL (October 4, 2023) – Franklin Street is pleased to announce Garet Marr, a seasoned leader in the Insurance division, has been named Regional Managing Director of the firm’s headquarters in Tampa, Florida. Marr will join Patrick Kelly, Regional Managing Director, in overseeing and growing the firm’s several business lines in the Tampa market, including insurance, investment sales, capital advisory, leasing, project management and property management.
In his new role, Marr will guide Franklin Street in strategic growth initiatives, expanding the firm’s full-service capabilities, talent and market share across the office, industrial, multifamily, retail and healthcare real estate sectors.

Since joining Franklin Street in January 2017 as an Associate, Marr’s production volume, leadership and expertise propelled him to achieve the role of Managing Director within the firm. During his tenure, Marr expanded the firm’s presence in Chicago, Illinois, before transitioning back to the Tampa market in fall 2023.
