Shaun Mayberry to lead land acquisitions, sales and investments, while growing firm’s land advisory platform
JACKSONVILLE, FL May 19, 2022 – Franklin Street has expanded its Jacksonville office with the addition of the office’s first-ever commercial land broker. Shaun Mayberry joins the team as Senior Director of Land Investment sales.
Mayberry has more than 15 years of commercial real estate investment, property and portfolio management and marketing experience. For nearly the last three years, Mayberry was VP of Prime Realty in Jacksonville where he focused on land brokerage, new development and health care investment sales. He led the land brokerage team with notable sales in multi-family, mixed use retail along with large medical office sales.
During his real estate career, Mayberry has held various management positions with Weichert Property Management (Washington, D.C.), CB Richard Ellis (Arlington, Virginia), Jones Lang Lasalle (Jupiter, Florida) and Ash Properties in Jacksonville.
At Franklin Street Shaun will focus on land investment sales with the goal of creating a strong team focused on land sizes between six and 25 acres for townhomes, build-to-rent communities, and multifamily developments. His focus will also include outparcel land primarily for retail and self-storage mixed uses.
The addition of Mayberry to the Franklin Street team has broadened the office’s expertise and services. Recently, Franklin Street Jacksonville added an industrial-focused director, a senior associate for investment sales and leasing, and a senior associate on the capital markets advisory team. In 2022, Franklin Street’s Jacksonville office has expanded by 40 percent to a total of 14 team members.

Mayberry earned a Master of Real Estate at Georgetown University with a specialization in commercial development and finance and earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing at the University of Florida. Mayberry is originally from Northeast Florida, growing up in Argyle Forest and graduating from Bishop John Snyder High School.
