Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday announced more than five dozen appointments and reappointments to Florida’s Judicial Nominating Commissions (JNCs), the panels that recommend lawyers for judgeships.
Second District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission
Tyler Cathey, of Tampa, is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Franklin Street Financial Partners of Tampa. He received his bachelor’s degree from Muhlenberg College and his law degree from the University of Florida. Cathey is reappointed for a term ending July 1, 2023.
