Manny’s Original Chophouse signed a deal to take the former Lago’s Restaurant spot in the Baldwin Park’s main square, said broker Terrence Hart of Franklin Street, who negotiated the deal for the landlord.
Manny’s is known for its road trip-themed decor and its meat. It has a big menu of steaks, ribs, seafood, chicken and burgers.
The 7,384-square-foot Lago at Baldwin Park closed in 2012 at 4979 New Broad St., Orlando.
Also nearby, Colibri Mexican restaurant is opening a craft cocktail bar called “The Nest” next door this spring, Tutto Cafe plans to open later this month and Mezza Mediterranean Grill should open in April. There is also a gourmet popcorn shop coming as well as I CE NY Original Rolled and Smashed Ice Cream .
