Franklin Street has added commercial property sales and real estate law expert Justin Spiller, Esq. as associate director, retail investments. The role is a new position for the growing Jacksonville office of the full-service commercial real estate company. Spiller joined the company in July.
As associate director, Spiller specializes in representing investors in the sale and purchase of both single-tenant net lease and multi-tenant retail properties throughout North Florida and the Southeast. In this role, he works with his clients to maximize returns on commercial real estate investments by having a keen understanding of the real estate market and performing tailored financial analysis and research to suit their specific needs. His commercial real estate law background assists greatly in his ability to negotiate and manage all facets of retail investment transactions.

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Spiller was a founding member of Tiktin Real Estate Investment Services, where he served as senior investment sales associate. He has over a decade of experience providing commercial real estate solutions to his clients, beginning his career as an attorney at Rogers Towers, P.A. Spiller focused his law practice on commercial real estate, representing various shopping center developers, national homebuilders and global lenders. Previously, Spiller served as an investment associate for the national retail group at Marcus & Millichap in Miami, where he worked with and advised high-net-worth clients in the sale of commercial retail investments.

Spiller received a B.A. in political science from Brown University and earned a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law. He maintains an active Florida Bar license and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Associate. He remains active in his community and has served on numerous charitable boards and committees.
Spiller is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville, an organization that develops youth and adult leaders in Northeast Florida. He also completed the Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute (Leadership Florida’s young professionals program) and has served on various boards and committees, including the United Way of Northeast Florida, Sulzbacher Center, Jacksonville Urban League and the Malivai Washington Kids Foundation.
