A restaurant and juice bar new to Jacksonville is joining Brooklyn Station on Riverside. Grabbagreen is scheduled to open this fall in the space next to Burrito Gallery. The restaurant describes itself as health fast food with grain- and green-based bowls, smoothies and fresh-squeezed juices.

The local franchisee, Randy Jeppersen, has rights to two more locations and is looking at Jacksonville Beach and the area near the St. Johns Town Center. Grabbagreen’s website actually says both those locations are coming soon, but a spokeswoman said those sites have not been determined.

Grabbagreen was founded in 2013 and is based in Arizona. It currently has 3 locations but expects to open 16 this year. This would be the first in Florida.

It would also leave only one vacant space in Brooklyn Station, which opened in 2014 and is anchored by Fresh Market.

Franklin Street negotiated the lease.
