Georgia company buys 2 Class A office buildings

Franklin Street is doing property management for two Orlando office assets purchased by Atlanta Property Group.

Atlanta Property Group, an Atlanta-based real estate investment firm, closed on two office properties in Orlando in a portfolio sale on July 5.

The two Class A properties bought from entities related to Starwood Capital Group are the 12-year-old, Class A, 164,766-square-foot Baldwin Point office building on 2420 Lakemont Ave. and the 16-year-old, Class A, 226,548-square-foot Quadrangle II office building at 11950 Corporate Blvd. near the University of Central Florida.

Franklin Street is handling property management at both properties. JLL has the leasing assignment.

” Our teams have been on these buildings since the seller’s purchase in 2012,” Melissa Hazlewood, Franklin Street management vice president told Orlando Business Journal via email, adding that Atlanta Property Group is new to the Central Florida market.
