TAMPA, FL—Franklin Street has been on a massive hiring spree. The latest to come on board is Ben Miller, the 33rd new hire of the year.

Miller comes on board as director of Loan Originations at Franklin Street Capital Advisors. He specializes in the origination, analysis, and placement of commercial real estate debt and equity throughout the Southeast.

“Ben adds a lot of value to our business,” says Danny York, president of Franklin Street Capital Advisors. “He not only brings his many relationships with commercial and community banks, he will also be able to help us to streamline the loan process for our clients.”

Before coming on board at Franklin, Miller worked for Thomas D. Wood & Company as an assistant vice president. There he aided in the production of $41.8 million in loans in 2014 and $39.7 million in 2015.

“The capital markets are the hottest they have been since the downturn,” says Miller. “With some rates at all-time lows, investors should be taking advantage of this opportunity to position themselves for the greatest returns possible.”

In addition to loan processing, Miller will works to develop, optimize, and implement financial plans. He’s also charged with strengthening Franklin’s lender relationships in markets across the nation.

Prior to Thomas D. Wood & Company, Miller worked for USAmeriBank and Intervest National Bank. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in real estate with an Accounting concentration.
