Franklin Street Hires New Retail Investment Sales Director in Jacksonville

Former Marcus & Millichap Senior Associate/Retail Asset Manager Chad Atwood to Help Bolster Retail Investment Practice in North Florida.

Full-service commercial real estate company Franklin Street has hired Chad Atwood to fill the newly created role of retail investment sales director. 

Atwood’s new responsibilities include asset underwriting, market positioning, portfolio management, cash-flow analysis and projects, acquisitions and dispositions for retail and investment clients in Jacksonville and throughout northern Florida. 

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Atwood served as a senior associate and multi-tenant retail asset manager for Marcus & Millichap’s Jacksonville office where he represented clients and shopping centers across the Southeast. Atwood has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry and has also owned his own real estate brokerages in North Florida and Ohio.

Atwood is currently a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and in 2016 he received a CoStar Power Broker Award for highest transaction volume in commercial property sales. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Wittenberg University.
