Franklin Street hires Adam Vosding as general manager for Channelside Bay Plaza. In this role, Vosding oversees all daily management operations, as well as leading business strategies for the plaza.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be working for Franklin Street and having an active role in the management and revitalization of Channelside Bay Plaza,” Vosding said. “I am both delighted and proud to be part of a company that has great values and exceptional leadership – two of the many qualities that attracted me to the company. I also love how Franklin Street is a company founded and based in Tampa and has had impressive growth since it was formed in 2006.”

Prior to joining Franklin Street, Vosding worked for Publix Super Markets, Inc. for more than 20 years in various roles throughout the Southeast including retail operations, purchasing coordinator, property manager and real estate specialist. After working for Publix, Mr. Vosding worked for Lucky’s Market in Boulder, Colorado where he served as the lease and licensing specialist.

“We are happy to bring Adam to our team at Channelside Bay Plaza. His employment is another move furthering our commitment to the vision of creating the nation’s next great waterfront city,” said Andrew Wright, CEO and managing partner of Franklin Street. “Adam will be able to apply his experience with Publix, a Fortune 500 company, to the management of our plaza and I’m confident in his abilities to continue upgrading the plaza and streamlining its operations.”

Vosding will be working closely with Channelside Bay Plaza events manager, Darrah Winkler, to attract new events to the plaza. In addition to working with Winkler, Vosding will work closely with the plaza’s maintenance staff implementing many improvements including exterior upgrades, improving the security and customer service presence and several other improvements to enhance the center before the major redevelopment.

“As a resident of downtown Tampa and an avid Tampa Bay Lightning fan, the opportunity to become General Manager of Channelside Bay Plaza is really a dream come true for me,” Vosding said. “There is so much potential for the property and to have a partnership with Jeff Vinik says a lot about the direction Channelside Bay Plaza is headed.”

Mr. Vosding graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in general education.
