Franklin Street, a full-service commercial real estate firm, announced today that Brett Price has joined the company’s Capital Advisors division as director in the Atlanta office. In this role, Mr. Price will specialize in loan origination, negotiation, and structuring of debt and equity investments for all asset types. He is a former Ivy League adjunct instructor and real estate executive with more than 20 years of financial services experience.

Most recently, Mr. Price served as an adjunct instructor of Real Estate Development Finance at Columbia University, a private Ivy League research university in Upper Manhattan, New York City. He previously served as asset manager for a $3.5 billion REIT operated by Clipper Equity, a New York Stock Exchange-traded residential landlord and development firm. Mr. Price also worked as owner and managing director for Avenue Real Estate Services, a real estate investment and property management company with offices in Georgia and Tennessee. He grew the business to 20+ employees with gross annual revenues of more than $4 million before successfully selling the firm in December 2015.
Mr. Price received bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Tennessee. He earned a bachelor’s in English from Lipscomb University and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Tennessee and Georgia.
