Franklin Street Awarded Management Of Aventura Office Tower

“Aventura is a very affluent residential market, which drives the need for high-end offices. Aventura View continues to benefit from that demand," said Vice President of Management, Lisa Jesmer.

Franklin Street was hired by the new owner of Aventura View, COFE Properties, to manage the Class-A office tower located in the heart of Aventura.

The Franklin Street team, led by Vice President of Management Services Lisa Jesmer, is set to oversee the management of the 107,304-square-foot office tower at 2999 Northeast 191st Street. Jesmer, who joined Franklin Street in October 2015, is already making strides toward building the company’s Office and Industrial Services division. Franklin Street added several big-name employees to its Office and Industrial division in 2015, including JLL’s Chris Butler and Chad Rupp and CBRE’s Julie Palmer-Nicholson and Clay Wommack.

COFE Properties acquired the 10-story Aventura View in late December 2015. Aventura View was constructed in 1988 and sits on a four-acre site. The previous owners completed more than $3 million-worth of renovations and improvements before selling the property to COFE.

Located across from the popular Aventura Mall, Aventura View is about 85 percent occupied. Tenants include City National Bank and a variety of law firms, medical-office users, real estate firms and travel companies.

“We are thrilled to add a crown jewel like Aventura View to our growing management portfolio,” said Jesmer. “Aventura is a very affluent residential market, which drives the need for high-end offices.  Aventura View continues to benefit from that demand.”
