Franklin Street announced that Dan Dratch, a veteran of the investment sales industry and experienced commercial real estate leader, has been named Regional Managing Director of the firm’s South Florida office. In this role, Dratch is responsible for overseeing and growing all aspects of the firm’s business in the South Florida market, including leasing, investment sales, capital advisory, insurance, project management and property management.

In his new role, Dratch will guide Franklin Street in strategic growth initiatives, expanding the firm’s full-service capabilities, talent, and market share across the office, industrial, multifamily, retail and healthcare real estate sectors.

“I am thrilled to embark on the next phase of my journey with Franklin Street. The success of the company and my colleagues is something I am passionate about, and I eagerly anticipate our collective growth in the South Florida region. I believe in the power of Franklin Street’s comprehensive service offerings, and my collaborative efforts across various business lines have yielded substantial outcomes, including securing millions in capital financing and insurance premiums in addition to the success I have had in Investment Sales. I am genuinely thrilled to have been selected for this significant leadership role, and I’m eager to embark on this exciting journey,” said Dratch.

Dratch joined Franklin Street in November 2015 as an Associate with a mission to establish and lead the firm’s South Florida Multifamily Investment Sales Team. With unwavering dedication and sheer determination, he transformed his vision into a reality, successfully driving the South Florida Multifamily team to become one of the premier teams in the region. Since he arrived at the firm, Dratch has consistently held the distinction of being a top-performing professional. Notably, he earned the prestigious title of a Top 25 Power Broker by the South Florida Business Journal, was recognized as a Multifamily Influencer by GlobeSt.com and helped our South Florida office be recognized as a CoStar Power Broker.

Before joining Franklin Street, Dratch gained experience in the real estate industry as an Account Executive at Costar in Miami. Costar is widely known as the leader in the field of Commercial Estate Information, analytics, and news.

“Since joining us in 2015, Dan has continuously demonstrated his dedication to excellence, driving our South Florida Multifamily Investment Sales Team to become a leading force in the region. In this new role, Dan will spearhead our operations in the South Florida market, guiding us towards continued success across various CRE sectors. Under his visionary guidance, Dan will navigate Franklin Street’s strategic growth initiatives, enhance the firm’s capabilities, foster talent development and reinforce our market presence,” said Andrew Wright, CEO and Managing Partner of Franklin Street.

Beyond his role as a devoted husband and a caring father to two wonderful children, he has a strong belief in making a positive difference in the community. Lately, Dratch has played a pivotal role in our initiatives to support various charitable organizations in our region such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, which pairs adult mentors with children in need, and Feeding South Florida, a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger in the community. Dratch’s passion for these causes served as a powerful spark, motivating the South Florida Team to become actively involved.

Dratch added, “It is no secret that the current market presents its fair share of challenges. What I have witnessed firsthand is how the Franklin Street’s collaborative platform empowers clients to not only weather these difficult market conditions, but also stay ahead of the curve. Given my track record of success and a deep understanding of the Franklin Street platform, we have a competitive edge and will be a force to be reckoned with in the market for a long time.”
