New Atlanta mixed-use redevelopment project provides gathering spot in heart of Sweet Auburn District.
The Front Porch on Auburn Avenue is Atlanta’s newest premier mixed-use development, offering approximately 30,000-square-feet of retail space within walking distance to the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, bustling Edgewood Avenue and Georgia State University.
Located near the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park and along the Atlanta Streetcar route on Auburn Avenue, The Front Porch will serve as a gathering place for the diverse area to enjoy shopping, dining, and relaxed downtown living.
“Sweet Auburn has a daytime population of more than 500,000 people who live, work and play within a 5-mile radius,” said Sam Krueger, Director of Retail Leasing in Franklin Street’s Atlanta office. “The Front Porch will serve this eclectic neighborhood as it continues to revitalize and grow into one of Atlanta’s most up-and-coming retail corridors.”
In addition to the available retail and dining space, the Front Porch will offer a mix of rental and for-sale housing units including urban gardens and arts and cultural design elements throughout this development. Krueger is seeking out local Atlanta restaurant groups and regional restaurant groups. Additional tenants could include sit-down restaurants, grab-and-go food locations, boutique fitness centers, ice cream/dessert concepts, or a unique speakeasy concept. Already, there is committed interest from a fitness group and local, full-service restaurant.
