Franklin Street announces the sale of Meadow Glen, a newly-developed 6,400-square-foot strip center in Fairburn, Georgia. The property sold for full asking price at $2.19 million.

John Tennant and Bryan Belk of Franklin Street represented the seller, Meadow Glen Retail, LLC, in the transaction. The buyer is a private California investor represented by Brian Lang and Doug Clyburn of the Shane Group.

“We continue to see interest from investors for well-located properties with national tenants,” Tennant said. “High traffic counts from I-85, as a major commuter route to downtown Atlanta, along with several new developments in the area gathered attention from buyers.”

The property is located just off Exit 61 of I-85 (139,597 ADT) and main feeder exit for the cities Tyrone and Peachtree City. The area has seen substantial retail growth and in last year alone, QuikTrip, Hardee’s, Bojangles, Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell, Starbucks and Marco’s Pizza have all opened at this exit.
