Professional Experience

As the Controller of Institutional Property Management for Franklin Street Management Services, Mr. Dagenais provides accounting and financial support to the CFO. He has more than 15 years of experience in property management, financial accounting and corporate reporting. Mr. Dagenais has a strong background in forecasting, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax compliance, variance reporting, trend comparison and performance analysis.

Before joining Franklin Street, Mr. Dagenais served as the Group Financial Manager for Cushman & Wakefield in Tampa. He directed the firm’s Corporate Occupier & Investor Services Group for the office, industrial and retail assets under management in the group’s Southeast U.S. portfolio.  His work experience includes managing branch and property teams responsible for the accounting and reporting for a portfolio consisting of 28 entities, more than 3 million square feet, while generating more than $20 million in annual revenue.  Mr. Dagenais has extensive experience in large scale lease administration and lease audit compliance. 

Mr. Dagenais previously worked as the Regional Controller for Horizon Bay Senior Communities, where he was responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of 12 retirement communities in the Southeast United States. 

Mr. Dagenais holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida and an active member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
