Professional Experience

As Managing Director of Franklin Street Insurance Services team, Michael Shadeed is committed to serving clients’ needs by offering value-added services and competitive market prices. Mr. Shadeed specializes in all product types within the real estate industry including apartments, office, industrial, retail, and hotels. Being well-connected in the real estate industry, he also has advanced a network of developer and construction clients. Through his commitment to the latest technology and client satisfaction, he has already developed a portfolio spanning across the country with clients located in 48 states and Canada and has been a part of bringing major contracts to Franklin Street and placing his insurance business with competitive carriers.

Being involved in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry for more than 10 years, Mr. Shadeed began his career with BWT Risk Advisors, in Johns Creek, Ga., focusing on real estate and construction clients.

Currently, he sits on the Young Agent’s Committee board for the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia and is co-chair of its political fundraising committee. He is a scheduled guest lecturer every semester at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, speaking to the Risk Management program on accomplishments in building a retail agency.

Mr. Shadeed graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, majoring in Risk Management and Insurance with a concentration in Finance. He also is licensed to sell insurance in 48 states and has facilitated Franklin Street to become a licensed agency in more than 10 states. He is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) is currently pursuing his Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation.
