Kevin Murphy serves as Director of Retail Services at Franklin Street. He brings three decades of veteran leadership, experience, and expertise to his clients. He is dedicated to building collaborative relationships through his enthusiastic attitude, discipline, and integrity while providing agile service resulting in tailored solutions for his clients.
Murphy has extensive market knowledge in Austin’s unique retail landscape and excels at being a trusted advisor to his clients through strategic planning and financial sourcing. He has represented both landlords and tenants throughout his career, having arranged more than three million sq. ft. in transactions on behalf of developers of single-use and mixed-use properties, investment-grade clients, 1031 clients, and trusts.
Prior to joining Franklin Street, Murphy worked at Partners Real Estate and RESOLUT RE (formerly Retail Solutions) and the Trammell Crow Company.
He is an active member of the Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR), the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Additionally, he has been an expert witness on valuations in Travis and Williamson counties, Courts of Law, and The United States Federal Court.
