Kara McDermott is an Associate with Franklin Street’s National Self-Storage Investment Sales Team in Miami, where she provides comprehensive real estate solutions for owners and investors of self-storage assets located throughout the country.
Ms. McDermott effectively advises clients through every stage of the investment cycle, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, asset valuation, capital budgeting and site selection. Additionally, she collaborates with Franklin Street’s insurance, capital advisory, leasing and management professionals to provide the full scope of real estate services for clients in the self-storage industry.
Prior to joining Franklin Street, Ms. McDermott worked as a Junior Associate with Marcus & Millichap in Jacksonville, Florida, where she conducted market research and provided analysis and underwriting for industrial assets. She also worked as a Sales Coordinator with Coldwell Banker in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she assisted in managing both residential and commercial transactions.
