Professional Experience

Justin Berryman serves as Senior Director for Franklin Street Real Estate Services specializing in retail leasing representing landlords and tenants with more than 3 million square feet of retail space throughout South Florida and Georgia. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge with experience in all facets of commercial real estate including site selection, development, leasing, management, acquisition, and disposition of both retail and multifamily assets. Mr. Berryman has worked with a variety of local, regional, and national clients including DDR, Kimco, Westwood Financial, Woody’s BBQ, Sandor Development and Sanitas Medical Centers.

Prior to Franklin Street, Mr. Berryman was responsible for managing and leasing shopping centers for private investors throughout the Atlanta area. In 2010, he started a partnership investing in distressed residential and multifamily real estate around Atlanta achieving a double-digit return for his investors. Previously, Mr. Berryman worked for Marcus and Millichap as a Retail Investment Sales Associate and was a Co-Owner of two food franchise businesses.

Mr. Berryman is a licensed real estate agent in the states of Florida and Georgia. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and serves on the Southeast ICSC Planning Committee, Young Atlanta Retail Alliance (YARA), and other industry groups. Most recently, he was recognized with Franklin Street’s 2017, 2016 and 2015 Sales Achievement Award and was named 2014 Rookie of the Year for his outstanding sales. He was also named a 2015 Emerging Leader in Retail by Real Estate Forum and a CoStar “Power Broker” in 2014, 2015 and 2018.

Mr. Berryman attended Auburn University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship while also playing for the Auburn Tigers football team.
