As Chief Learning and Development Officer, Mr. Robinson is responsible for developing the company workforce and leading the planning and execution of employee training programs at Franklin Street. He manages the selection and implementation of employee learning technology, along with driving all talent management initiatives across the company.
Mr. Robinson previously served as the Regional Managing Partner overseeing the performance of Franklin Street’s Tampa office including all operations, business development and strategic planning. In addition to being responsible for overall revenue and ongoing team management, he also played a vital role in Franklin Street’s agent recruitment and training.
Mr. Robinson has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate including loan origination, loss mitigation, asset management, underwriting, and analysis. Personally, he has originated hundreds of millions of dollars in loan transactions in markets across the U.S.
Previously, Mr. Robinson served as Senior Loan Consultant and Officer for Washington Mutual Bank, where he was responsible for the commercial real estate loan origination and underwriting for more than 10 years.
As a leader within his industry, Mr. Robinson has been recognized with several awards including Franklin Street’s Leadership Award from 2013-2014 and the 2013 Biggest Impact Award. He was also Washington Mutual Bank’s 2005 Top Commercial Real Estate Loan Consultant for the Southeast Region.
Mr. Robinson received his bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University and completed the University of Washington’s nine-month Commercial Real Estate Certificate program for industry professionals.
Mr. Robinson completed his Master of Science in Organization Development & Change at Case Western Reserve University.
